Join us virtually On May 19th as we celebrate emerging talent and outstanding achievement in the Canadian fashion industry.
The virtual Awards Gala will be hosted by award-winning Canadian actress Amanda Brugel. Renowned for her work on The Handmaid’s Tale, Kim’s Convenience, and Workin’ Moms, Brugel has always been a strong supporter of Canadian fashion and CAFA.
This year’s edition will spotlight nominees and honourees previously announced in 2020, including legendary model Maye Musk, celebrated global lifestyle brand October’s Very Own® (OVO), and womenswear designer Tanya Taylor. The awards will be presented by notable Canadian figures in fashion and pop culture, and the winners will be announced on May 19, 2021, at 7:00 p.m. EST through an hour-long interactive show broadcasted live from Toronto.
Additional digital programming, including a virtual red carpet and pre-show, begins at 6:30 pm EST.
Guests are encouraged to tune in and participate at home by wearing Canadian designers and sharing their look using the hashtag #CAFA2021 for a chance to win exciting prizes, be featured during the show and on CAFA’s social media platforms and image galleries.
